The Shoot With the Mud

This is, honestly, one of my favorite shoots of the year.

On the drive to the Harbor, it was raining off and on.  Praying that the rain would hold for a bit.  And it did.  But it didn't stop the mud.

Little Miss Haidyn is now 18 months old, and into a crazy-paced run everywhere.  Which is awesome unless there's been a lot of rain.  So I give you the first shots before the infamous dive...

And the shot immediately post-face-plant-in-the-mud.

My favorite part of all of this?

We kept on shooting. Liz grabbed a backup shirt and jacket from the car, Todd cleaned Haidyn up, and she was off and running again, faster than a little blonde lightning bolt. Everyone just rolled with it.

If we'd stopped shooting, we would have missed this:

And this sweet babe kiss:

And this little grin:

And this squeal:

I am loving seeing this little one grow. She started a mini-Signature plan at one year old. We're shooting Haidyn at one year, 18 months, and 2 years.

Cannot wait for her two year old shoot!
