I love seeing these two girls grow up - being so close in age, how they interact and how their personalities shine through. And I absolutely adore their bright smiles.

Malachi, just before Christmas

Twenty two months old. So incredible to see how he's grown since I shot him at three days old...he has definitely come into his own. Sweet, loving, and the most fabulous sneaky little smile.

What am I excited for? That he's going to be a big brother! He's one of a few "second Signature babies" that are expected for Finian Road this summer...yea!

There were so many fantastic images to choose from -- I cannot wait to show his parents the final shots!

Sweet Jeremiah

Jeremiah is also a "Wee Ski" like my son...his parents received a gift certificate for a shoot from Jeremiah's grandparents - what a great gift! When they were up here for Christmas from Oregon, we met up on Olympia's waterfront for the shoot.

Jeremiah's mom, Laura, and I went to high school together -- it had been years since we'd seen each other. Now we both have little Wee Skis, great husbands, and fabulously creative jobs - she is doing something I would love to know how to do well - she's a pastry chef! :)

My own sweet baby...

...just turned one.

He's maybe had one or two 'official' images on this blog...so to celebrate his birthday, here's a few of my favorites from his one-year shoot.

I love these boys.


Starting his first steps -- only a few on his own. Promptly followed by sitting down. He's watching a train right now -- way more exciting than walking.


I love that his baby blues never changed.


A sequence of one of my favorite things he does right now -- shaking his head back and forth like he's saying NONONONONONONONONO. Both he and Papa are doing it right now. It makes my heart happy.
