They surprised their family and friends at Thanksgiving two years ago, with a surprise wedding. The two of them are such a blast to be around...I couldn't stop laughing...with them or at them. Brian is so sweet with her, and she adores him.
It was such a privilege to be able to shoot them. Over the last year, they have both lost an incredible amount of weight - 60 pounds for Candice and 120 pounds for Brian. This shoot was later in the year as they hit their latest benchmarks. An awesome chance to capture them right where they are right now.
We had some pretty funny moments - especially during the 'arches' spot. There was another photog who was shooting a high school senior there. They must have spent more than 45 minutes in. one. spot. Just. one. spot. We were doing some creative cropping, but yellow fleece guy kept showing up in the background. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long, long time.
Anyway, I digress. Onto my faves!
I said, "Will you lean up against that arch?" Thanks, Mr. Literal.
